各位親愛的家長及同學：

Dear parents and students,

復活節假期共有十三天，大家都可以休息一下。回校的第一天，很多同學，特別是一年級的同學，表示很想回校上課，更有家長表示小朋友在家中哭着要回校上課。可見同學十分愛學校，學校給大家一個快樂又溫暖的感覺。

There were 13 days for the Easter Holiday and we all could have a break. In the first day to go back to school after the Easter Holiday, lots of students, especially P.1 students, told me they wanted to go back to school soon. Some parents told me their kids cried at home to yell for going back to school. My students really love the school as it can give them happy and cozy feeling.

四月十五日是「全民國家安全教育日」，當天是學校假期，所以我們在四月二十四日在德公課舉行有關的主題活動。當天不單有校長講課及播放短片講解國家安全的重要性，我們也安排高唱國歌，希望加強學生對國家安全及《憲法》與《基本法》的認識，及培養尊重國家主權和維護國家安全的意識。

National Security Education Day was on 15th April 2023. However, it was the school holiday. Therefore, it was held on 20th April 2023 during Moral and Civic Education lesson. I addressed a speech and broadcasted a video to tell students the importance of National Security Education in Hong Kong. We sang national anthem together. We hope that our students to learn more about the Constitution and Basic Law which can cultivate the awareness of our students on the issue of how to respect the national sovereignty and to protect the national security.

為提升學生對國家的認識及情懷，學校在四月三日安排了一場正向親子電影欣賞活動，這齣電影是—《中國乒乓之絕地反擊》，電影的內容十分正向及積極，我國的乒乓球代表隊是世界知名，以前也有一段艱辛的日子，但大家也沒有放棄，最終取得冠軍。電影提升了大家的國民身份認同，這樣堅毅的精神，是值得同學們學習。當中一些感人的情節，也令到學生、家長及老師動容。

To enhance students’ loyalty with sense of belonging towards China, we organized a parental movie appreciation event. We watched a movie called ‘Ping Pong: The triumph’. The content is positive. Our table tennis team is famous around the world, but they faced lots of obstacles. They did not give up and they got the championship finally. This movie really moved us and boosted out national identity. Students could easily find and learn the perseverance. Some of the contents were touching and make us cry.

在復活節假前夕，英文科為同學們準備了一些活動，外籍老師Ms. Ruth 為同學講故事；英文老師在隨堂帶學生們到進行有關英文及復活節的活動，同學邊玩邊學習英文。今次安排了一個別開生面的活動，英文外藉Ms. Ruth 及英文科主任陳家雋老師在導修課時，以直播的形式，到每一層找不同的同學協助找出復活蛋的位置，每次老師經過課室時，同學都滿心期待，希望爭取成為找復活蛋的主人。

Before the Easter holiday, English team prepared some activities for students to learn English. Our NET teacher, Ms. Ruth, told a story to students in the reading morning session. During the English lesson, students went to the playground to play some activities. There was a special item. During the tutorial lesson, Ms. Ruth and Mr. Chan (English panel) took a mobile to walk around the school to invite students helped find the Easter egg. As it was live, students were so excited. Everyone sat still in the classroom to wait for being chosen and became the master of the Easter egg.

四月四日為龍岡日，這活動已經停辦3年，今年參加的嘉賓可多呢！嘉賓進場後，首先舉行升旗禮及高唱國歌，完成後，嘉賓一起上台，參加謁祖禮。當主禮嘉賓致詞後，各校也有表演節目，我校表演舞蹈。完成典禮後，大家就參加茶會。當天也有一個小插曲，在十二月參加世界龍岡學校劉皇發中學的陸運會中，遇到前港隊(劍擊)的成員林衍聰，他是劉皇發中學畢業生，對學校十分關心，在是次龍岡日，我們又遇上，所以與他拍照留念。希望LTY的學生畢業後也對學校如此支持及關心。

On 4th April 2023, it was Lung Kong Day which had not been held for 3 years. Lots of guests came. When those guests arrived, we walked into the school and all stood to sing National anthem. Then they went on the stage to join the kick-off ceremony. After the guests addressed the speech, it was time for performances like dancing and singing. When the ceremony finished, we had a tea banquet. I was so happy to meet Mr. Lam Hin Chung. He is a retired athlete of Hong Kong Fencing Team and he is also the alumnus of LKWFS Lau Wong Fat Secondary School. He supports and cares the school so much and he has tried his best to attend all the activities of the school. In December 2022, it was the sports day of LKWFS Lau Wong Fat Secondary School. We met and knew each other but we did not take any photos. I grabbed this chance to take a photo with him. I wish LTY will have alumni like him who support and care LTY a lot.

復活節後，要等到暑假才會再有長假期。希望同學盡快收拾心情，投入學習生活，爭取好成績及有好的品行，成為一位優秀的學生。

After the Easter holiday, we have to wait a long holiday until Summer. It is hope that our students should be more focused on their learning and get good result with good conduct for being an outstanding student.
